"We don't have a weak spot in our lineup," said Hawks coach Bill Tafs. "We should have one of the best offensive teams in the area, and if we can play defense we could be one of the better teams in the state in our class. Five or six of our seniors have already committed to college programs for next season."

Hawks Notebook --Hawks baseball standout Bruce Slygh has signed a letter of intent to further his education and baseball career at Hibbing Community College starting next fall. Teammates Wylee Arro and Cruz Runyan will attend Wisconsin-Superior.
