Bulldogs men's hockey recruits Zam and Max Plante are having strong starts to the 2023-24 season, with their respective teams.
Zam has scored five goals and nine points for the Fargo Force (8-0) of the United States Hockey League, and his younger brother Max has 14 points (3 goals) in 10 games for the U.S. National U-18 team (6-4-1-1).
Max recently had a goal and three assists in his team's 8-2 victory at Boston University.
Both former Hermantown players are expected to join the UMD program next season.
