Boys Basketball -- at Bemidji, 6 p.m. Game Note: The Hawks trounced Hibbing 90-73 in a Lake Superior Conference matchup last Saturday in Cloquet. Hermantown (10-5) has won six straight and nine of its last 10. Senior power forward Abe Soumis is on pace to set a new school career points record.

Boys Hockey -- host Hibbing, 7 p.m. The Class 1A/No. 1-ranked Hawks suffered a rare home loss Saturday, falling to Class 1A/No. 2 Warroad. Hermantown (10-3-2) likely won't suffer a second straight loss against the 10-6-0 Bluejackets, who have lost two of their last four, including a 4-2 setback at Little Falls Saturday. The Hawks are led by senior goaltender Dane Callaway, junior power forward River Freeman and team scoring leader William Esterbrooks (20 points), a senior forward. Sophomore defenseman/forward AJ Francisco, an elite Division I prospect, has 14 points. Hermantown has 10 regular season games remaining, including signature home games against St. Thomas Academy (Jan. 26), Maple Grove (Jan. 27) and Chaska (Feb. 10).

Girls Basketball -- host Rock Ridge, 7:15 p.m. Game Notes: The Hawks (4-10) raced to a 72-40 home victory over nonconference Crookston last Saturday. Hermantown is led by junior center Olivia Johnson, sophomore guard Bailey Hermanson and senior guard-forward Bailey Zagelmeyer, a rising college prospect. The powerful Wolverines are 13-1 and have won six straight after suffering their only loss of the season, 71-62 to Cromwell-Wright in a Wood City Classic opener in Cloquet on Dec. 27.

Thursday

Girls Basketball -- host Proctor, 7:15 p.m. The Rails defeated the Hawks 66-39 in Proctor on Dec. 7. Proctor is 11-3 and visited Cromwell-Wright (10-4) on Monday night. 

Friday

Alpine Skiing -- vs. several schools, 5 p.m. Mont du Lac

Saturday

Dance -- at Totino-Grace, 7 a.m.

Wrestling -- at Grand Rapids, 9:30 a.m.

Nordic Skiing -- at Duluth Marshall, 10 a.m.

Girls Hockey -- host Benilde-St. Margaret's, 1:30 p.m. in Proctor. The Mirage, who are led by senior forward and team scoring leader Izy Fairchild (26 points, including 12 goals) are 11-7-1. BSM is 12-3-1. Proctor-Hermantown will visit Duluth Marshall (16-1-1) on Tuesday, Jan. 23.

Girls Basketball -- at Princeton, 1:30 p.m. Princeton is 4-7.

Boys Hockey -- host White Bear Lake, 3 p.m. Class 2A/unranked White Bear Lake is 10-3-1.
