Hermantown will wrap up its girls basketball regular season this week with a road game at Duluth East on Tuesday and at home against Duluth Denfeld Thursday, on Senior Night.
Hawks seniors to be honored on Senior Night, along with their parents, are starting guard Bailey Zagelmeyer, super-manager Zoi Cardinal and Fiona Haertel, an exchange student from Germany.
"We're looking forward to honoring our seniors," Hermantown coach Beth Clark said on Monday afternoon.
The Hawks (6-18) are also excited to finish the regular season strongly with a pair of victories. The Section 7AAA playoffs will begin Wednesday, Feb. 28.
Duluth East is 8-16 and Denfeld 3-20. The Hawks fell to the Greyhounds 62-44 on January 5 at Hermantown Middle School Gym and will face the Hunters for the first time this season.
Hermantown played two local teams tough last week, losing 63-55 in overtime at Hibbing on Tuesday and 66-44 at Esko Thursday.
"We had a competitive game against Hibbing," said Clark. "We had a chance to score at the end of regulation but time had expired before the shot went through."
Bailey Hermanson and Aurora Decker each had 13 points and Olivia Johnson added 11 against the powerful Bluejackets. Aurora Decker and Mikayla Sweeney had eight rebounds each.
Hermanson had 16 points and Johnson 14 against Esko.
