Tuesday
Boys and Girls Alpine Skiing -- at Lutsen
Boys Basketball -- at North Branch, 5:30 p.m. The Hawks are 5-0, including a 79-69 road win at Delano in their most-recent game. Abe Soumis had a game-high 27 points against the Tigers, and teammates Nathan Hill (16), Blake Schmitz (14) and Keaton Christiansen (13) also had big games offensively.
Boys Hockey -- at Rosemount, 6 p.m. The Class 1A/No. 2-ranked Hawks (7-0-1) held on to defeat nonconference Shakopee 4-3 last Saturday at historic Hermantown Arena. Penn State commit Dallas Vieau scored two goals 13 seconds apart in the first period for Hermantown, which led 4-1 after two periods in the second game of a back-to-back which included a 3-0 win at East Grand Forks Friday night.
Girls Basketball -- at Duluth East, 7 p.m. The Hawks (2-8) are hoping to rebound from a 69-42 loss against Esko last Wednesday in the Esko Coaches Classic, where they defeated Solon Springs 63-41 in the opener to snap a six-game losing streak.
Girls Hockey -- Moose Lake-Willow River, 7 p.m. Proctor. The Hawks (9-3-2) defeated host Duluth 5-1 in an outdoor game Saturday but figure to face a tougher opponent against the Rebels (8-1), who have won eight straight including a 3-2 victory at Hibbing-Chisholm last Tuesday.
